Groundwork
This is a beginner level course designed to help clinicians better understand the foundational aspects of Gestalt Therapy. Groundwork is the first course in a three part series introducing clinicians to the treatment models and the complex theories of Gestalt Therapy.
What is Groundwork?
This is the first in a series of entry level informational courses developed to help clinicians better understand the treatment models and the complex theories of Gestalt therapy. Groundwork is particularly important because its absence constitutes one of the more serious reasons for the failure of sophisticated depth psychotherapy. In contrast, adequate groundwork allows a client to develop the skills needed to take advantage of the power and creativity of the Gestalt approach.
This course seeks to explain the fundamentals of this important process in the therapeutic journey.
